A Colorful Addition

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

The rhododendrons are in bloom and are truly beautiful. Our geographical location is their extreme southern boundary, so we are happy when they show their colors. The concern, this year, is our non-stop thunderstorms which hasten the demise of the blooms. Oh well, admire them while they are here!

A White Christmas?

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Does wishing it make it come true? Highly unlikely, but why not give it a chance. This photo was taken last year. Maybe if we click our heels together three times…

Pumpkinheads

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Halloween is just around the corner and, as usual, we are gearing up to celebrate the occasion. The pumpkins are being carved, the candies prepared for the little tykes and…if only I could find the butler and maid!?!
