This years Garden Lights Holiday Nights lighting extravaganza will feature several of the unique creatures from the gardens last exhibit, Imaginary World. The 25 ft tall Earth Goddess has been transformed into Ice Goddess with twinkling lights sprinkled thru her long tresses. The Giant Cobras have been wrapped for the holidays with red and white stripes, welcoming visitors as candy canes.
An arch of brilliantly colored ladybugs carefully watch over the gateway from the Fuqua Orchid Center to the Outdoor Kitchen. The Fuqua Orchid Center is dressed with poinsettias, amaryllis, orchids and anthuriums. In the atrium of the Fuqua Orchid Center is a live Poinsetta Tree that rises above the tropical flowers and foliage. An Atlanta tradition is looking for a family of Bears and dog and seeing what Holiday Finery they have selected for this years Atlanta Botanical Garden Lights Holiday Nights exhibit. The uniquely choregraphed Orchestral Orbs, are a one of a kind topiary light show that is set in sync with Holiday Music making it a favorite Atlanta tradition.

I wanted to give you a few tips for going to the Atlanta Botanical Garden Lights Holiday Nights. We like to go mid week , as there are less people. You can park at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and take the elevator to 5R Level. When taking photos, twilight is the best time and be sure and turn your flash off. The best thing about the Atlanta Botanical Garden Lights Holiday Nights is that is just a short stroll from our Atlanta Bed and Breakfast!
