September is a great time to visit and find the perfect list of Things To Do in Atlanta. All the children have returned to school, so there are no lines at some of our favorite attractions. The weather is a little cooler with fall is just around the corner. It is the perfect weather for strolling to some of our great Atlanta restaurants and dining on the patio. High Museum of Art presents Girl with a Pearl Earring: Dutch Paintings from the Mauritshuis thru September 29th, 2013. This is the first time Johannes Vermeer’s iconic painting has been seen in the southeast. There are thrity-five other painting by other well-known Dutch artists also on display.
Atlanta Botanical Garden is showcasing Imaginary Worlds, Plants Larger Than Life thru October, 2013. As you stroll thru the gardens, over nineteen living magical creatures will greet you and capture your heart.
Midtown Restaurant Week begins Sepetember 7th thru Sepetember 15th, 2013. Sample pre-fix brunch, lunch or dinner menus at over 45 Midtown restaurants for $15, $25 or $35.
Stone Mountain presents the Yellow Daisy Festival, September 5th thru September 8th, 2013. Voted one of the top three Arts and Crafts Festivals in the southeast. There are more than 400 exhibitors from thrity-eight states, music and wonderful food.
The Atlanta Arts Festival is September 14th and 15th, 2013 in Piedmont Park. The Atlanta Arts Festival has over 200 artist from around the country and was recently listed as one of the 100 Best Fine Art and Design Festivals.
Music Midtown at Piedmont Park on Sepetember 20th and 21st, 2013. This ticketed event has a host of bands for every age to enjoy.
