Piedmont Park Arts & Crafts Festival is August 17th and 18th, 2013. The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is hosting the third annual Arts & Crafts Festival with over 250 artists. The artists will display their works of arts for two days along Piedmont Parks paths and walkways for you to see and purchase. This is the 3rd Annual Piedmont Park Arts & Crafts Festival presented by Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces by artists for artists.
One of the Piedmont Parks Arts & Crafts Festival goals is to give back to the community thru art, while creating an art show like no other in metro Atlanta. The Midtown community of Piedmont Park is one of the largest and enthusiastic buying art communities in Atlanta. Artists from aound the country and Georgia will be showcasing their photography, paintings, sculptures, metalworks, glass blowers, jewelers and crafters and will also include live demonstrations.
There will also be live acoustic music, a street market and a childrens play area. Many of Atlanta’s perferred Festival Food and Gourmet Food trucks will be on hand to tempt your tastebuds with their culinary delights.
The Piedmont Park Arts & Crafts Festival needs your help to break the Guiness World Record for the largest human chain to pass a Hula Hoop! If you arrive early on Saturday only, you can catch the Green Market at Piedmont Park. They have wonderful organic fruits, veggies and herbs for you to take home. A few of items you will find in my shopping bag are fresh flowers, hand-made pasta and honey.
This is one of the things we LOVE about living in Midtown and to think Piedmont Park is just a few blocks from our Bed and Breakfast in Atlanta. See you at the Green Market and the 3rd annual Piedmont Parks Arts & Crafts Festival!
