The Atlanta Botanical Garden Summer Concert Series starts their 10th annual Concert in the Garden series on June 1, 2012. Guests always ask us what are some of our favorite “Things to Do in Atlanta”. I would have to say we always enjoy the Atlanta Botanical Garden Summer Concert Series. On a summer evening it is fun to walk to the Atlanta Botanical Garden and listen to wonderful music surrounded by some of my favorite flowers at Atlanta’s intimate outdoor venue. Be sure and pre-order your dinner from Metro Fresh in the Garden when you purchase your tickets. No outside food, beverages and coolers are allowed at the concerts.
The gates at the Atlanta Botanical Garden will open at 7 p.m. and all summer concerts begin at 8 p.m. Seating is on the great lawn so don’t forget to bring your favorite blanket or low beach chair or let the inn know and we will gladly provide you with one. All shows are rain or shine. The Atlanta Botanical Garden Summer Concert Series was voted Best Outdoor Concert Series by Atlanta Magazine. It is the perfect place to sip a little wine, have a great dinner and enjoy the music.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden has come up with a stellar line up of artists that include some of my favorites Keb Mo and Aaron Neville to the native Atlanta’s Indigo Girls.
