Shellmont Wedding
Shellmont has a long wedding history. It was built in 1891 by a young doctor as a wedding present for his bride. The Atlanta Journal Constitution describes it as “The Wedding of the South, the most eligible bachelor marrying the Belle of the South”. Are you newly engaged and looking for a small intimate Atlanta wedding venue or an Atlanta destination wedding? You will spend two Romantic evenings in our Carriage House with a whirlpool for two and steam shower. One of our most popular Atlanta Outdoor Wedding Venues is in our beautiful Eco-friendly gardens. Walk down the outdoor staircase with two stories of lush green hanging baskets as your backdrop. If you prefer indoors, imagine walking down the intricately carved interior staircase framed with a two story set of five Tiffany glass windows.
Our florist will create a unique bridal bouquet and boutoinnaire with your favorite roses. We provide the officiant and will guide you in obtaining your wedding license. We will be happy to play your favorite music selections during the ceremony and afterwards. After your ceremony, enjoy your two-layer Signature Shellmont Wedding Cake. You select your favorite cake flavor and fillings. Your cake will be decorated with roses in your favorite color. Toast the beginning of your new life together with your Keepsake Champagne Flutes. We can provide you with a list of local photographers to choose from. The following morning enjoy a delicious in-room breakfast served on a silver tray and spend the day relaxing.
