When brilliantly colored bronze, orange and red leafs rustle in the fall winds and begin to dance across our lawns, we know that Thanksgiving in Atlanta is just around the corner. It is the season to reconnect with family and good friends. One of our favorite Southern traditions is to gather in the kitchen and each person prepares their special Thanksgiving recipe from this years bounty. The Thanksgiving table is set with a seasonal centerpiece and our best china, crystal and silver. One by one each work of art is brought to the table, where our Thanksgiving feast will begin.
We give thanks for all our special guests, family and friends that have crossed through our Atlanta bed and breakfast door this year and in the past and send them our blessings. May your Thanksgiving Day be filled with the fellowship of good friends, laughter and wonderful food and spirits!

Baked Cranberries (Family Recipe from M. Beisner)
* 1- 10 ounce bag of Cranberries
* 3/4 Cup of Sugar
* 1 Cup Orange Marmalade
* Juice of 1 Lemon
* Pinch of Salt
* 1/2 Cup of Bourbon, Rum or Brandy
Mix together. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and put into jars. Store in the refrigerator.
