Admiring the details of our Atlanta Inn
Fall is a great time of the year to check on our built-in gutter system. Aesthetically beautiful but a nightmare to maintain. So, life as an innkeeper at this historic Atlanta Inn is never dull. Not familiar with built-in gutters? Long, long ago, gutters were incorporated into the cornices of buildings so as to not be visible from below. Nice concept, but easy to forget to maintain. Best solution…copper or painted sheet metal or high tech fabric coated. Shellmont Inn has all three. But, you still have to check on them after storms, hail, etc.
